Product Description |
Nylon jacket in 3 layer construction for those facing difficult weather conditions; wind, waves and the cold. Breathable and waterproof, it brings together all the technology and research gained from experiences at sea and much more. Attention to the minutest of details to ensure reliability, safety and functionality.
Advanced Technology Fabric. This brand name is used for a range of diferent fabrics that share the same characteristics, they are all waterproof, breathable and thermoregulation.
Waterproofing. Resistance to water is expressed in millimetres, which represent the height of the column of water wich the fabric is able to whitstand during laboratory tests before allowing liquid to penetrate.
Breathability. Two enviroments are artificially created with different hygrometic conditions and vapour is forced through the fabric, after wich vapour penetration is measured, with the result expressed in grams of water vapour per sq meters of fabric in 24 hours.
Thermo-Taped Seams. The heat application of a special backing tape on fabrics offers total protection against water penetration along seams.
Visibility. The reflective bands and labels play an important part in ensuring safety at sea, but they are also useful about town.
Pu-Tricot Fastenings. Featured on the cuffs of many jackets, together with the velcro straps these fasteners provide a double fastening system to prevent wind and water penetration.
Ergonomic. These garments have a special cut and structure to facilitate body movement.
Condura A fabric wich is highly puncture, tear, rub and stratch resistant. At the same time is light, soft, confortable and damp proof.
3Layer Fabric. The 3layer garments have a composite 3-ply structure made of three different layers of overlapping fabric.
Reflexite. Retro reflexite tape, constructed using microprismatic technology, wich ensures visibility and luminosity in all atmospheric cnditions.
